On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the AXA Group is proud to renew its support for the reconstruction of Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris.

The image of the spire smashing into the burning roof of Notre-Dame cathedral in Paris is now just a bad memory. The reconstruction of Notre-Dame is a major project that has been underway for 5 years.

From making the site safe to carrying out studies to optimize the restoration work, month after month, passionate men and women continue to rebuild Notre-Dame de Paris with a view to its official reopening on 8 December. It's a crazy gamble, an incredible feat that has been made possible by the unparalleled efforts of the Compagnons du devoir, skilled workers of excellence, all hard at work on this gigantic site to rebuild the original structure using age-old know-how.

This emblematic monument, one of the most visited in the world, has finally been given a new lease of life. We are the builders of cathedrals, as Philippe Jost, President of Rebâtir Notre-Dame, that has been orchestrating the rebirth of this Gothic jewel since the beginning of this tremendous human adventure, so aptly puts it.

Beyond the excellence of French craftsmanship, Notre-Dame de Paris is now rising from the ashes thanks to the generosity of donors. And there's more to come!
