The European Fine Art Fair Maastricht is an unmissable event for art lovers everywhere. The quality of the works presented by 275 galleries, hand-picked by a panel of 175 international experts, make it a unique fair.
AXA ART has been a leading provider of coverage for art objects and collections for more than five decades, and has worked closely with TEFAF as the event’s principal sponsor for the past several years. For this 29th edition, AXA ART again planned a particularly full program.
Throughout the fair, important art works from AXA Insurance's international corporate collections were on display in the AXA ART Lounge. These included works by Gerhard Richter, Jacob Lawrence, Rupprecht Geiger, Adolph Lutter, Alex Katz, Fabio Viale, Barry Flanagan, and Marc Manders. The works on show in the AXA ART Lounge attracted an extensive public, clearly enthusiastic about the AXA collection.

Chief Executive Officer of AXA ART (2014-2018)
The theme of art plays an important role in AXA ART's corporate culture, not only as an element of our insurance business, but also as a source of inspiration and intellectual stimulation in our places of work.
AXA ART organized a reception for international museum directors, as well as a panel discussion with Patrick van Maris, TEFAF’s new CEO.
AXA ART clients and partners, along with art collectors and journalists, were invited to a talk about current trends in corporate collections. The discussion panel included several major international corporate curators, and the debate was moderated by the author and editor Florian Langenscheidt.
