Two million surgical masks

To assist front-line caregivers in the fight against COVID-19, AXA has pledged to donate two million surgical masks to the Assistance Publique - Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP), which employs 95,000 people and treats 8.3 million patients each year. This donation includes 350,000 FFP2 masks, whose level of protection is adapted to the immediate needs of the most exposed healthcare personnel.

This delivery is part of the air bridge set up by the French government between France and China. They will be distributed to all 39 AP-HP facilities (including elderly care facilities).

Making life easier for medical personnel with free meal deliveries

The AXA Group and Uber Eats are also joining forces to provide health workers with a simple and easily accessible meal.

Twenty thousand meals, worth €10 will be delivered free of charge to all hospital personnel, through the Uber Eats app. These lunch or dinner meals will be delivered to workplaces or homes, in full compliance with hygiene and contact-less protocols.

The cost of the meals is covered by AXA and Uber Eats will cover the orders and delivery.

These initiatives show AXA’s and Uber’s support and gratitude to all medical personnel of Paris Public Hospitals for their daily efforts.
