AXA Group presented its contribution to the France Pavilion at the 2025 World Expo in Osaka during a ceremony at the Cité de l’Architecture in Paris on February 4, 2025. The theme of the pavilion is Love: a unique work that will immerse the audience in a singular universe, where the electronic music of Rone will interact with the delicate choreography of Angelin Preljocaj, captured by the camera of Thierry De Mey. Together, they weave an invisible thread of love, the Akai Ito, which connects souls and cultures, in response to the chosen theme of the France Pavilion: Love.

This original performance—filmed on the terrace of the Centre Pompidou, with the most beautiful view in the world: the city of Paris—was made possible thanks to IRCAM, of which AXA is also proud to be a major patron. Furthermore, the pulse of this sound signature produced for this work will rhythmically guide the journey through the France Pavilion, ensuring coherence while highlighting the uniqueness of each space.

This partnership reflects the Group's deep attachment to Japan, a country where AXA has been present since 1994, with today 9,000 employees. It also underscores the Group's commitment to the protection and transmission of heritage, arts, and culture. Through this contribution, AXA is dedicated to helping make this event a true success and to making the visit to the France Pavilion exceptional through this visual and auditory experience.

AXA has always been committed to promoting and protecting French and European culture and excellence worldwide. By partnering with COFREX as a Gold partner, AXA joins other prestigious companies that each showcase French excellence on a global scale—LVMH, Alsace Wines, and Ninapharm.

The 2025 World Expo will take place from April 13 to October 13 in Japan's third-largest city, Osaka, and is expected to welcome 28 million visitors.
