The 13th edition of the forum begins today at the Carrousel du Louvre, for the first time in Paris. This year’s theme takes place in the spirit of disruption as consecutive changes are shaping tomorrow’s world. AXA believes women leadership is key to meet today’s and tomorrow’s challenges, especially in its business transformation.

In the past few years, unexpected elections, automation, artificial intelligence and the ubiquity of social networks have blown over our economies and societies, making it imperative for organizations to reinvent themselves. In order to achieve that, they need new and creative ideas to bring women and men to work together beyond gender differences.

In that context, the Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society has been thriving for more than a decade, with men and women from every horizon, building a better world and hosting vibrant debates, researching and challenging preconceptions. This year, more than 2.000 delegates will debate to discuss how to be a leader in a constantly changing environment, around a main theme: Engage for impact!

The Women’s Forum for the Economy & Society is the world’s leading platform featuring women’s voices on major social and economic issues. Women’s Forum Meetings convene leaders and influencers, women and men, to engage in wide-ranging, incisive debate on vital issues.

AXA is a leading partner of the forum for the second consecutive year. For this edition, various AXA executives will speak on distinct topics:

  • Thomas Buberl, CEO of AXA, will raise the question of the future of health and the transformation of the health-related services ecosystem;
  • Amélie Oudéa-Castera, Chief Marketing and Digital Officer, will attend a session to discuss about the way innovation can support wellbeing and prevention, especially on the issue of chronic disease management;
  • Dawn Miller, CEO of AXA Insurance Company US, will deep dive on how we can better support women entrepreneurship;
  • Hassan El Shabrawishi, Chief Innovation Officer, will speak about Fintech and the need for AXA to embrace disruption to seize its opportunities;
  • Garance Wattez-Richard, Head of AXA Emerging Customers, will explain sustainable insurance and finance and show the opportunities behind insuring emerging customers;
  • Laurent Bénichou, Head of R&D at AXA Next, will evoke blockchain technology’s potential and the role it could play in bringing access to the financial system.

The forum is organized around four pillars:

  • The relationship between organization and employees and how businesses and institutions can embrace their humanity to lead through disruption;
  • The social impact of technology and the means to diversify and enrich the environment that gives rise to new technologies;
  • The value of creativity and how the most successful entrepreneurs have systematically inspired and catalyzed creativity and innovation;
  • The skills and talents of the future and the way for businesses to find them.
